The celebrities who have got lockdown etiquette all wrong

It hasn’t always been obvious who is and isn’t a ‘key worker’ during the coronavirus lockdown, but one profession seemed to bow out of service early on.

Celebrity publicists, the work of whom largely goes unnoticed – as they gently suggest perhaps their clients *shouldn’t* tweet that childhood memory about feeding a goldfish to their brother, or to maybe think about *not* accepting an invitation to speak at the annual Society of Climate Change-Denying Drug Dealers and Trophy Hunters summer ball – have gone AWOL.

How else can you explain the behaviour of celebrities during the past few weeks? Tik-toks, Instagram Stories, public service announcements… left to their own devices (literally), the rich and famous are a law unto themselves.
