Superintendent Lori Wilson of the West Plains R-7 School District, left, and Andrea Crews Martin of Arvest Bank, right, will be celebrity waiters at the Child Advocacy Center’s yearly fundraiser, to be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Rubydoo’s Vintage Events, 9240 County Road 9190. Tickets are $60 per person and a cash bar will be available. “This year marks my first year to serve as a waiter for the Child Advocacy Center’s Celebrity Dinner, and I am excited. I am honored to help support CAC’s mission of protecting kids. The work of the organization is incredible,” said Wilson. “Thank you for the continued dedication and commitment to our area kids.” Crews-Martin echoed the sentiment: “Arvest bank is proud to participate in this worthy event once again this year. We cannot thank them enough for the services this amazing organization provides to the children and families in our communities. I am very excited to serve as the celebrity waiter for the third year in a row.” Waiters will compete to collect the most tips during the evening, and donations may also be made online at childadvocacycenter.org/event/celebrity-waiter-dinner. Tickets may be purchased online or from any celebrity. The Child Advocacy Center assists in the investigation of alleged child physical and sexual abuse, performing forensic exams and interviews to children in seven area counties, including Howell County.
